Would You Rather

This activity can be done many different ways.

• You can write the questions on cards and have participants take turns drawing a card and answering its question for the group.
• You can go around the room and simply ask one of the questions to each person in turn.
• You can provide specific practice sentence examples you’d like the students to use, such as:
  • “In my opinion…”
  • “I believe that…”
  • “The way I see it…”
  • “I’d rather…”
  • “I’d choose…”
  • “From my point of view…”
• You can ask each person follow-up questions on their response, or simply ask them to provide more details.
• You can ask others in the group if they have any follow-up questions after each response.

You can always come up with your own questions on the fly, but here are some options that involve pre-existing lists of ‘Would You Rather’ questions…
